Cavalry Saber

A favorite of Hunters who prefer to stalk silent and deadly through the swamps as they track their prey. One of many sabers that found themselves anything but obsolete in the bayou.

This Cavalry Sabre is a Riposte bayonet that, in the spirit of a scathing retort, is often just the thing to retake the initiative.

Graceful and ominous, like a crow gliding towards its prize, this elegant cane becomes a deadly sabre when blood needs to be spilled. Its handle aims to terrorize its victims, and the horror in their eyes is a proof of success.

Ironshod Bandit commissioned this blade after a bloody fight. “I’m a bookkeeper, not a warrior,” he later wrote in a letter home. “But necessity changes a man. Not for better or worse, only for survival.”

This Cavalry Saber came from a hidden collection found within the walls of Fort Bolden. The man who once wielded it could have never comprehended what would become of the very land he stood on...or that he'd still walk it even after his death.

When Lynch was granted passage from the Land of the Dead, her companion’s blood and bones paid the toll, to be forged into this Cavalry Saber. Thanks to this transmogrified sacrifice, Lynch and this Ward now walk together amongst the living once more.
