After Red Raven and One Who Flies were thrust into the grim reality of the hunting grounds, they used this Haymaker to secure the area around the Scout Towers. Unfortunately, no amount of preparation could protect their minds from the Corruption that eventually claimed them.
This pistol is a source of comfort for Midnight’s Shadow, who keeps it strapped just below her underarm in case anyone tries to surprise her. She finds that it provides a special kind of punishment, a visceral death as short as her temper.
A game played by this pair is to each give their prized Haymaker as a gift to new acquaintances. Though unusual for any Hunter to part with vital firearms, neither has yet failed to pry it from an acquaintance’s death grip.
