The best trappers understand that there is balance to be struck between beauty and brutality. This Rival 78 Mace is one of Buckshot and Snare’s most artful tools, allowing them to blast or beat their enemies with sudden, powerful grace.
They shouldn't have died so horribly. All they'd wanted was to investigate and offer assistance. But the 26th Regiment was no match for the Corruption, and so their former sergeant forged this shotgun in an attempt to balance the scales of their souls.
The Dark Friar believes that those who crave blood deserve a hole in the head a lot more than they deserve a prayer. This shotgun lets him send such wretched souls to the fate they deserve, their bloody sins cleansed by death.
